Jason Bourne JKD – FMA
Make no mistake about it, Jason Bourne’s films are my favorites. To be honest, I hated Matt Damon (sorry, I love to watch this guy now) until I watched commercials for the Bourne Identity and the name calling stopped. My brother was laughing at Matt Damon’s (or we thought at the time, he was just coming off “Good Will Hunting”) feeble attempt at action, when I stopped and said to my brother. ”Look at that, he looks like he’s doing JKD/FMA. I want to see it.” His mind was changed as well, and we went to see the movie, and you know what, we were blown away. We also got the added bonus of seeing real Jeet Kune Do and Filipino Martial Arts in a film. No wires, no Matrix like effects, just brutally effective Jeet Kune Do/Filipino Martial Arts. As luck would have it, the teacher – was from the same lineage as me.
