Portland Women’s Kickboxing Class
Turn back the clock, gain the eyes of your significant other again, get confident and make friends, all while losing weight in a Hillsboro Women’s Kickboxing Class
If you’ve been dreaming about getting fit without getting really bored, then you’ve come to the right place.
We all can admit that spending endless hours on a treadmill is a major bore. You do it because you have to (or you don’t do it because you don’t want to punish yourself anymore). It’s not fun and it’s not exciting.
Or, you go to a kickboxing class already. You sort of envy the instructor who looks better than you and is perky all the time. In fact, it’s sometimes downright annoying. But, you go drag yourself to class because you have to.
There’s also not that much attention placed on you because there are too many people in the class. So as a recourse, you wing it and hope that you’re doing the movement right. But really, you’re a little more than a background for all the other fit people in the room (who you’d probably like to kill anyway because they look good already).
All in all, the whole thing is depressing between the super fit instructor and the super fit lifers in the room. You feel like you don’t fit in and you feel like you aren’t being paid attention to.
I’ll tell you a secret… Secret #1 to weight loss… A major factor in weight loss is consistency and with all these factors against you, it’s not very likely that you can be very consistent. In fact, half the time you’re dragging yourself out of bed because the place is un-motivating.
What if you could go somewhere where the class sizes are small (like 4 people), only women (so there’s no men hanging about and you don’t have to feel like you look stupid in front of them), and you learn super effect martial arts you can use on the street (you can’t really take your cardio kickboxing skills into a real fight and win, if you really think that you can, then you’re kidding yourself).
That’s right. There’s a Hillsboro women’s kickboxing class that does that and it does a lot more, wanna know what? Just check it out below:
You’ll make friends – my classes are like a community, it’s not very often that the people in them don’t go out together and do fun things. There’s something about sweating and working together that bring people together.
You’ll lose weight – Yep, you’ll lose weight and get fitter. You’ll also gain sexy lean muscle. It’s no secret that people love fit women. You’ll become of them in a very short time. You just have to put in the work and make the classes. Speaking of that point…
I already told you that one of the secrets to making your fitness goals achievable is consistency. Let me hand you secret number 2.
Here it is…
The secret to consistency is accountability. I don’t just mean with me, I mean with your friends you’ll make in the classes as well. They’ll miss you when you’re gone, and they’ll ask you where you’ve been. They become your social support structure. So, you get a social support system built right into the class.
So what else is there in addition to the social support? Let’s keep going:
Tie to Bruce Lee: Yep, that’s right, I teach Jeet Kune Do (which is Bruce Lee’s martial art). So technically you’ll only be four steps away from the man (my lineage goes like this: Bruce Lee taught Dan Inosanto (the only man he certified to teach Jeet Kune Do still alive), Dan Inosanto taught Paul Vunak (and certified him, who has verified two years of teaching the Navy SEALs, by the way), Paul Vunak who taught me, then there’s you (who could be taught by me).
You’ll get stronger – my women’s Hillsboro kickboxing class isn’t just cardio kickboxing or calisthenics like other classes. It has weight training built right in; in fact, you’ll be training in a system that took me over 5 years to develop. (Believe me, it sucked at one time, but now I’ve got it down to a science).
You’ll benefit from my experience – I’m not just a martial artist, but I have been a personal trainer since 2004. So I have had 7 years of experience training others in weight loss and martial arts. I’ve combined them into one and quite frankly, I’m world class at it. Most other trainers you meet are one or the other (even if they have the certifications) I’m actually both.
You want me to prove it?
Just take a look at the places I’ve been a personal trainer (here’s the short list):
Bally’s Total Fitness
24 Hour Fitness
Tri D Fitness
LA Fitness
LA Boxing
Shute Park Recreation Center (if fact, I saved a life there using CPR check this out – http://blog.oregonlive.com/washingtoncounty/2008/12/sharc_employees_get_kudos_for.html
If you’re looking for experience, then you probably won’t find a more experienced trainer nearly anywhere.
You’ll learn more than just kickboxing: We also teach weapons, and grappling. The way we teach grappling doesn’t involve partners (or at least it doesn’t have to, I prefer not to make you grapple someone unless you want to). So you’ll get the full gamut of fighting abilities, it won’t matter where the fight might go in the street, you’ll be prepared to handle it. No other martial art can give you that.
Ok, ok, what times are available?

So How Much Does It Cost –
We have different levels of pricing; it’s all up to you.
Drop in class – $37 a class
One time a week – $87 a month
Twice a week for a month – $149
Three times a week for a month – $179
Unlimited – $250
The unlimited gets to go to any class of their choosing even if it has 4 people in it already. I don’t expect there will be many of these, but if you’re willing to do that much, then I’ll make an exception for you.
So, where are we?
2092 NW Aloclek Dr. Suite 518
Hillsboro,OR 97124
Phone: 503-928-7747
A quick word of warning though, I’m not good about the phone calls. If you want my attention, then you should e-mail me. I’m extremely busy during the day, so if you have questions then it’s best to e-mail me at scott@realistictrainingworks.com. At this point, we have not put a sign up and my front office will throw you off but if you get to Suite 518 you’re in the right place (my Hillsboro women’s kickboxing gym is right next to it, it has a roll up door).
But, wait – Still have a few issues? See below.
It costs too much:
If you’re shopping for price on Hillsboro women’s fitness kickboxing classes, then you probably don’t want to come here. There are plenty of kickboxing classes who have less skill and less result orientated than here. We do what we do to get results in weight loss and street skills. There are plenty of other schools and gyms that do one of the other for less.
I don’t have time:
This is a very valid reason. But if you don’t make time for this, then you will never get to your goals and you’ll never feel better about yourself. You can make a change now or you can stay the same, it’s your choice.
I don’t believe you:
You don’t have to. I offer a free class to see if you want to do this. Just come in and try it out. You can pay me later if you like it.
What’s the catch?
There can be only 4 people in a class. I find this is the best class size for the gym (it’s 1000 sq. feet) and the amount of attention I can give people. So really, there are going to be so few of you in a class that I have to pay attention to those in it. You’ll get personalized attention from me guaranteed.
What do I do next?
E-mail me at scott@realistictrainingworks.com. Tell me what you’re looking for, how you found me (specifically: like “I searched for Hillsboro Women’s Kickboxing” in Google”), and that you’d like to come to a free class. I hope to see you soon.
DO NOT SHOW UP WITHOUT TELLING ME FIRST
I keep my classes private. So you wouldn’t be able to get in the building. I have to know your coming for the door to be open. Otherwise I’ll be in the gym working on something or in the office working (the door is never locked during class times).
So again, to get started today in my Hillsboro women’s kickboxing class, e-mail me at scott@realistictrainingworks.com. I’m looking forward to hearing from you.

I am interested, but can you tell me the age group for your last two classes in the evenings? I am active, but not fit and not in shape! I am 52 this month and 5’7 at 160. Would love to get down two sizes and feel more energy.
What is your take on upper age women and your classes? How many a week do you start out at usually?
Appreciate the info!

Donna

I?d prefer to make use of some with the content material on my weblog whether or not you don?t mind. Natually I?ll give you a hyperlink in your net blog. Thanks for sharing.
Donna,
I sent you an e-mail. I never got a response.
