Hillsboro MMA teacher explains why Eddie Bravo’s system works so well

by Scott

It works, because it’s a system. A lot of BJJ (even the ones the martial art schools in Hillsboro) don’t have a system for what they do.

They just show techniques, then let you roll around until you find them (if you do).

Eddie Bravo Is smart with his Jiu-Jitsu (he doesn’t call it BJJ) because he devised a system for every possible move your opponent could make.

You always have options as long as you know and work the system.

My good friend and Hillsboro MMA fighter, Casey Campbell, teaches through Eddie’s system, and he’s darn good at it, because he knows the system and uses it to his best advantage.

So what’s the moral of this story then?

Find a school with a good system and use it.

You should check the creditionals of the teachers you roll with (literally).

Many of them are running around saying they have done MMA for years, but they have no experience.

If you want to be good, and survive in the streets, then you better find a good MMA school.
